Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, reported a 14% increase in net profit for Q2 FY25, reaching ₹1,147 crore, surpassing analysts’ expectations. The company’s revenue also rose by 11% year-on-year to ₹10,463 crore, outperforming the projected ₹10,223 crore. The EBITDA margin improved by 40 basis points, reaching 14.5%.
CEO Niranjan Gupta emphasized the company’s strong performance, driven by effective cash flow management, which has further solidified its financial position. Hero MotoCorp achieved its highest-ever retail sales during the recently concluded festive season, with 16 lakh units sold, fueled by heightened demand from the rural sector. Gupta anticipates that the momentum will continue, aided by favorable monsoon conditions.
At the EICMA 2024 event in Milan, Hero MotoCorp unveiled a range of high-performance motorcycles and electric scooters for international markets, including the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Karizma XMR 250. The company is also planning to launch three new ICE scooter models by March 2025, featuring innovative and best-in-class features.
On November 14, Hero MotoCorp’s stock closed at ₹4,604.30, up 1.84% from the previous day.
