Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd (BEPL) has announced a 3.92% decline in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ending September 30, 2024, reporting ₹48.22 crore compared to ₹46.33 crore in the same quarter last year. Despite this decrease, the company has declared a second interim dividend of ₹1 (100%) per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for this dividend is set for October 31, 2024, and it will be paid on or before November 8, 2024.
The last trading price for BEPL shares on the BSE was ₹149.10, reflecting a decline of 3.56% in today’s trade, with the company’s market capitalization at ₹3,710.48 crore. Over the past year, BEPL shares have gained 59% and have jumped 109% over the last two years.
In terms of financial performance, BEPL reported a total consolidated income of ₹378.11 crore for the September 2024 quarter, up from ₹323.70 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total expenses also increased to ₹316.28 crore from ₹259.21 crore. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was ₹1.86, down from ₹1.94 a year ago.
Established in 1984, Bhansali Engineering specializes in manufacturing international-quality acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and other polymer products, including polycarbonate-ABS (PC-ABS), which are utilized in automotive and electronic applications.
