CAMS Declares Generous 250% Interim Dividend Amid Strong Q2 Performance and Strategic Joint Venture

CAMS recently reported impressive financial results for the July-September quarter of FY25, showcasing a 45% year-over-year increase in profit after tax (PAT), which rose to ₹122.5 crore from ₹84.51 crore in the same quarter last year. Additionally, revenues from operations surged by 33%, reaching ₹365.17 crore compared to ₹275 crore in Q2 FY24. The company’s assets under service have hit a record high of ₹45 lakh crore, driven by robust retail participation in mutual fund investments.

For the first half of FY25, CAMS achieved:

  • Consolidated revenue: ₹696.57 crore (up 30% YoY)
  • PAT: ₹230.68 crore (up 43.4% YoY)

While CAMS experienced a slight decline on October 28, closing at ₹4,288.65 per share (down by 0.70%), the stock has demonstrated strong performance over the past year, yielding nearly 90% returns and gaining 33.33% over the last six months. By midday on the same day, the stock had gained over 1% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), trading at ₹4,322.55.

Strategic Initiatives

Alongside its dividend announcement, CAMS has entered into a joint venture with KFin Technologies to create “MF Central,” an investment management platform designed to enhance mutual fund services for both retail and institutional investors. This strategic partnership is expected to bolster CAMS’ service offerings and market presence.
